Empowering Men Through Dialogue

Men's mental health is often undervalued and overlooked. Smoke 'N Mirrors Experience aims to provide a safe space for men to engage openly in dialogue which challenges the narratives about us, encourages us to be transparent about our feelings and allows us to be supportive of one another.

Our Mission Statement

Smoke 'N Mirrors Experience serves to promote the continued growth and development of men through involvement in engaging and reflective dialogue. We believe that, by tackling the issues we grapple with as men, we can become better leaders of our respective communities.

What We Do

• Provide a safe space for men to engage in restorative and reflective dialogue
• Gather feedback from the greater community which
guides current and future programming
• Foster an environment which promotes the mental health of all individuals
• Create awareness relative to mental health strategies and resources

"Thank you for bringing black men together to speak life into them, for supporting them and holding them accountable. Thank you for bringing the women in with the men, so we can all have a better understanding of each other, learning about each other and growing together. The dialogue was great and I can’t wait for next month. I wish you all the success with Smoke n Mirrors because what you have is needed and valued!" - Shi

"I had a great time at the event. You guys are cultivating such a beautiful space for black men. Thank again for the invitation. I definitely learned a lot about the male perspective and how to nurture a black man's mental health. As someone who wants to be a wife someday, I appreciate learning the ways in which I can care for my one day husband." - Chaley
